A Lifetime of Stitches
I became interested in quilting in the '80s. I took several classes but life got in the way and I was unable to continue my quilting journey. When my son went to college, I took a class at a local quilt store — it was 'Teach a Man to Fish.' I was gone. I quilted all the time.
Then in 2021, I found Legit Kits. I became a pattern tester for them, and to date I have made over 33 kits. I love the art. I love the end result. I love Legit. I love all of it so much that I became a Certified Legit Kits Instructor in the fall of 2025.
These are beautiful quilts that require a unique set of skills — and I am so excited to teach them. If your group or guild is interested in a trunk show or workshop, I would love to hear from you.
